That means you can squeeze it into tight heating blocks and still hit your setpoint quickly. And the size? It’s 300mm long with a 10mm diameter. That keeps your mounting clean and predictable, so you can drop it into existing fixtures and keep the machine footprint exactly where you want it.
Materials and Design: Built to Handle the Heat
The heating element sits inside a quartz envelope. Quartz handles rapid temperature swings way better than standard glass and shrugs off thermal shock. A reflective coating sends more infrared energy forward, so more heat lands where you need it and less goes wandering off to the sides. For the connection, we went with an R7s bi-pin interface. It gives you solid contact, straightforward wiring, and easy replacement when you’re out in the field.
