Now, it&amp;rsquo;s not just about handling the heat. The real win here is that the tube doesn&amp;rsquo;t freak out when the temperature jumps up and down. It stays stable, which means it doesn&amp;rsquo;t crack when you&amp;rsquo;re cycling the power.&#xA;Then there&amp;rsquo;s the tungsten filament. We went with a heavy-gauge wire.&#xA;Here&amp;rsquo;s the thing: when a filament is too thin or gets too hot, it burns out. Simple as that. By getting the coil diameter and purity just right, we stop the tungsten from evaporating too quickly.
